Thread Bot exists to make your life, and your slack experience, better.
Thread Bot tries to store only the things it needs to perform its job.
Like all Slack bots, Thread Bot receives all messages and events received on channels it has been invited to.
Thread Bot stores the initial message of each thread in the channel.
That message is stored on a the server until the thread has timed out, when it is deleted.
The timestamp of the last message seen on the channel is also stored.
When debugging, Thread Bot can log addional messages from the channel to be used to debug and make Thread Bot better.
No third-party is being given access to Thread Bot data.
Thread Bot is run on a local FroodSoft server and nothing is stored in the cloud.
As Thread Bot usage scales, the server will likely need to move to the cloud and this policy will need to be updated.
